You are therefore in the final year of the current window to benefit from it, unless it is subsequently extended. <\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong> Eligible Equipment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The super-depreciation applies to new Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM) belonging to the following categories:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">&#8220;<b>Clean energy&#8221;<\/b> construction equipment: Electric, hydrogen, natural gas, or hybrid powertrains (subject to specific emission thresholds).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Stage V thermal construction equipment<\/b>: Equipment whose engine complies with the European &#8220;Stage V&#8221; standard, provided it is acquired as a replacement for machinery more than 5 years old used for the same purpose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Deduction Rates<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The tax deduction rate depends on the size of your company:<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Standard rate: 40% of the original value of the asset (excluding financing costs).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SME rate: 60% (for companies with fewer than 250 employees and a turnover of l&lt; less than \u20ac50M or a balance sheet total of less than &lt;\u20ac43M).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong> Accounting Treatment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This deduction is fiscal, not accounting-based:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Elle s&#8217;ajoute \u00e0 l&#8217;amortissement classique.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is added on top of standard depreciation.Elle est r\u00e9partie de mani\u00e8re lin\u00e9aire sur la dur\u00e9e normale d&#8217;utilisation de l&#8217;engin.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It applies to both outright purchases and finance lease or hire purchase agreements (LOA) signed before the end of 2026.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Super-Depreciation for Construction Equipment (TP) Is Still Available in 2026The scheme was reintroduced by the Finance Act for 2024 to support companies in the sector following the gradual removal of the tax advantage on Non-Road Diesel (GNR).
